K. Stuart Shea or Stu Shea, is a former chief operating officer of Leidos and founder and chairman of United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation. Prior to 2005, Shea served as a Northrop Grumman vice president in its TASC business unit. In 2005 Shea joined Leidos, then called SAIC, and was managing ''intelligence and surveillance division''. He has been credited with leading the corporate split of Science Applications International Corp. into Leidos and the new Science Applications International Corp. in the fall of 2014, and was considered a favorite to succeed Leidos chief executive officer John P. Jumper. In the Spring of 2014, he resigned as COO, soon after Leidos filed earnings report for the final quarter of 2014 showing profits dropping 75 percent over the same period in 2013.〔 Shea received a golden parachute payment of 3.4 million dollars after serving 6 months as the COO of Leidos, Inc. His plans are for vacation and golf, then to "dabble in private equity". ==References== 〔
